Synopsis

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Joyce, having recently seen the movie Titanic, cries as Joe and Danny look on. Danny talks with Joyce about why she's crying, and offers to take Joyce to the mall to help her forget about the movie. Joyce declines, telling Danny that she's going to see it again that night. Joyce invites Joe to see the movie and he declines. Insistent, Joyce bets Joe $20 that he will cry during the movie. On the way to the movies that night, Joe reveals that he is not one to cry at movies - Laughing during the sad parts.

Joe pays for the movie, and Joyce tells him that they are now on a date (Which neither of them intended). Eventually, however, the two make it into the theater, where the movie starts. Joe almost cries, tries to fall asleep, and is excited by the nude scene. In the end, however, Joe makes it through the entire movie without crying, and wins the $20. He is left with a feeling of sadness, though, and likes the movie so much that he buys the soundtrack, which Danny mentions in front of Joyce, embarrassing Joe. A couple of gags finish off the storyline, pointed at such topics as the Clinton affair, Shampoo, and Jerry Springer.
