Talk:Mike Warner
From Walkypedia!
Mike has some measure of super-strength - he was able to throw people into Monkey Master's cannons to jam them, and he was able to toss Dina up to the Head Alien's ship when he invaded Denver.
It seems to be Walky is bluffing in the strip cited as evidence of Mike's lack of strength - him and Tony and much stronger than he lets on. --Asimperson 19:44, 18 February 2007 (CST).
So, do we recorrect about his higher strenght and link to the dina throwing strip or not?--GUIGUI 06:00, 20 February 2007 (CST)
- It is also likely that he has super-endurance, since he survived a beating from both Tony and Walky
Walky's human. He makes mistakes. His word is not rule of law, and actions do speak louder than words. I'm changing it and citing the Monkey Master incident because I found it first.
What now?
So, what part of mike's history hasn't been covered yet? What more has to be add so this article will not be a stub anymore?
I'd imagine there's a lot more to say about his tenure at Shortpacked. There's probably some more to say about the earlier IW! storylines, I'm just too busy (read: lazy) right now to go through and figure out what roles he played. 89.0.85.42 13:35, 20 February 2007 (CST)
I'm not sure, honestly. He has no origin story. He wasn't one of Head Alien's favorites. Other than the Dina thing, he has purposely had little character depth. Maybe we could mention he has a thing for your mom or something? I dunno. --Asimperson 02:32, 21 February 2007 (CST)
Well, someone went in and added more stuff. I dunno if it's done, but it's not a stub anymore.--Asimperson 23:33, 21 February 2007 (CST)
- There should at least be something to say about his Shortpacked! appearances. That's what was missing before, and it's still not really there. --ItsWalky 00:12, 22 February 2007 (CST)
I think that there need to be citations for his Drunk Debilitation. I'd do it myself, but i'm very tired.--Cardinal Ex-Pope Richard Corey 06:47, 25 February 2007 (CST)
Damn these people ae detirmined. three character pages so far.
Huh.
I always thought Mike was way more LV! than he was me. But hey, whatever strokes my ego. Hooper X 09:20, 22 February 2007 (CST)
- Who the hell is LV! ?
- The guy Mike was supposed to be based on, dumbass. -hx, although I have to admit, SP! is ten times funnier when I read it under the assumption that mike is me.
- So... who *would* win in a staring contest, you or Roadblock? 89.0.46.128 10:47, 22 February 2007 (CST)
- Mike Warner is based on my elementary school friend Jason Michael Warner. He always smiled. The character existed as-is long before I knew either Hooper or Graham. --ItsWalky 11:27, 22 February 2007 (CST)
- So.... tell us! who would in a staring contest, Jason Michael Warner or Roadblock? 89.0.46.128 11:43, 22 February 2007 (CST)
- That's nowhere near as entertaining, you chump. -hx

- I had always assumed that Hooper was supposed to be the inspiration for, you know, Hooper.--Asimperson
- The note's original claim that Maggie thinks Mike is based on Hooper is also inaccurate. I dunno who the hell came up with that one. (Probably the same guy that said Joe's name is based on the Iwo Jima dude.) --ItsWalky 23:26, 22 February 2007 (CST)
