BFG?
Can this be cited? I don't remember Joyce's weapon being called a BFG, and it seems a little out of character to use an acronym with profane connotations. Then again, I might not be looking hard enough. Linkskywalker 00:57, 14 February 2007 (CST)
- I can't recall ever giving it a name. BFG was the name the readers gave it. (Of course, the F could stand for "friggin"...) --ItsWalky 01:01, 14 February 2007 (CST)
- I vote for "Fuzzy" or "Fluffy"--Raguleader 10:09, 17 February 2007 (CST)
In Doom canon, BFG stands for BioForce Gun. not "Big Fuckin' Gun" or "Bullshit Forever Gun", or whatever foul-mouth or silly acronym. And besides, i recall Jason called it a BFG once.
- In the movie for DOOM, The Rock's chacter called it a Big Fuckin' Gun, sorry for the language guys. --Highwayman Myth 01:25, 10 April 2007 (EST)
The BioForce Gun is the name given to it in the movie. In all other incarnations, it is indeed named "Big Fucking Gun." And it was identified as a BFG once, in the Fans! crossover. Also, despite what the article says Joyce's gun does not physically resemble version of the BFG I'm familiar with.--Austin 07:53, 25 December 2007 (CST)
Contrast?
Is Joyce's innocence and purity actually in contrast with Walkerton? Seems complimentary, and that she actually contrasts with characters like Joe. --Phydeaux 19:49, 14 February 2007 (CST)
- I thought that was a bit odd as well. Not only that, but I would say that Joyce is almost as energetic as walky. Linkskywalker 20:06, 14 February 2007 (CST)
Anti-Joyce
Is anyone else as amused as I am that Anti-Joyce has a "complete" article long before regular Joyce does?--Raguleader 10:09, 17 February 2007 (CST)
- Sure, since I wrote it :) Of course, Anti-Joyce is easier to write, since she's appeared a lot less.
- There is a bit of contrariness at work though. :) Same as the guy who's made it his mission to get the Melonpool characters on the front page, and has Ralph there, and Ralphie on Willis' To-Do list :) - SoM talk page 12:13, 17 February 2007 (CST)
- Makes sense really. I know that I for one don't feel I have the time to begin working on an article as important as Joyce. I'd even say I'm rather daunted. Smaller articles are more accessible to the casual walkypedian.Linkskywalker 13:01, 17 February 2007 (CST)
Trivia: only character in all 4 strips
What about Head Alien? ShinjiTheGale 19:36, 6 March 2007 (CST)
- Different Head Alien. --ItsWalky 23:40, 6 March 2007 (CST
- I always hate when you respond. It generally means that I am entirely wrong. ShinjiTheGale 06:50, 7 March 2007 (CST)
- While I'm here telling people making people cry, I think I should note that Ultra Car is also up for possibly being in all four strips. I mean, if a Joyce plush counts for her being in Shortpacked!, then Ultra Car's unUltraCarred SUV body being in Roomies! should be worth something. --ItsWalky 12:08, 6 April 2007 (CDT)
- Ultracar as a character only started at the very end of It's Walky! His "body" doesn't count.
- My point was that a Joyce plush seemed to count, which is even less of Joyce than Ultra Car's body is Ultra Car. --ItsWalky 23:02, 6 April 2007 (CDT)
- No possible way to disagree with that. Ultra Car is officially the second character to make appearances in all four series in the Walkyverse. --Highwayman Myth 01:37, 10 April 2007 (EST)
