The fourth storyline of Roomies!, She's Pristine! tells the tale of Joyce and her innocence and naïvety. Comprised of four black-and-white strips.

Synopsis

Joyce is at the dorm with Sarah, when Sarah's boyfriend Carl and friend Dana walk in. They have the movies "The Rock" and "Pulp Fiction" with them. When asked, Joyce tells them that she brought "Care Bears the Movie" for them to watch. Carl disses Joyce as a "Bummer of a roommate". The two then observe Joyce and realize that she has lived for twenty years without becoming the least bit "corrupted" - A recurring theme throughout later Roomies and It's Walky! strips. Carl tests Joyce by coming up behind her and saying the word "sex". When Joyce blushes at the mention of the word, Carl proclaims her to be pristine. In the next strip, The three are watching one of the aforementioned movies, and Joyce proclaims that the movie is disgusting, and announces her hatred of premarital sex. She succeeds in making Sarah feel guilty about her corruptness, and then leaves under the pretenses of going to the bathroom to find a G-rated movie somewhere else. To end the storyline, she goes to Danny, and they watch The Lion King, but Danny ruins that by making fun of the lion's parentage.
