Sensitive Scanner

An extremely powerful scanner for Martian artifacts. As the name implies, the scanner is very sensitive. It's also delicate, easily offended, and a bit of a Drama Queen.

Head Alien and Monkey Master use it to search for Martian ruins. Head Alien's imperious manner makes it hard for him to get the scanner to work (e.g., [1]), but Monkey Master turns out to be sufficiently smooth. As a result, Head Alien is able to find the Martian Embassy ([2]).

Monkey Master later uses the scanner to analyze The Cheese ([3]). Sensitive scanner also informs Monkey Master of detecting interdimensional travel by humans in "The Seventh Power" storyline ([4]).

Was turned into a blunt, rude, and chauvinistic scanner briefly during the "Anomalie" storyline ([5]).

Trivia

• Like much else in the Walkyverse, its name derives from Transformers fandom -- in this case, from a random aside in what is widely and rightly regarded as the greatest Transformers fanfiction of all time.
• During the Anomalie story line, Sensitive Scanner appeared to have watched "Blazing Saddles".
