The second storyline of Roomies!, Psy-cute-ic chronicles the tales of Joyce at Danny's apartment, and later the introduction of Alex.

Synopsis

Joyce has followed Danny back to his apartment, lovestruck. Danny realises this only when Joe points it out to him, and the two begin fighting, since Danny claims that he would not cheat on Sal, and Joe claims that he would. Joyce just thinks that Danny is defending her, and that they are dating. Danny has a hard time explaining to Joyce that they are, in fact, not.

Just as Joyce is trying to convince Danny to cheat on her (Contrary to her later character development), a person who the reader presumes to be Sal, but is later revealed to be Mary, calls. Joyce steals the phone from Danny and yells "Get your meat hooks off my Danny!" Joe pokes fun at the fight, as Joyce and Danny struggle for the phone. Joyce reveals that she has five older brothers, and learned to fight, so she wrests control of the phone. Danny finally gives in, and Joyce realizes that Danny doesn't like her. Depressed, she asks Joe to reveal Sal's character so that she can woo Danny. Danny clears things up with Sal and explains the Joyce Situation, as Joyce makes what might possibly be the first Willis Batman Reference [1].

Danny walks Joyce back to her dorm, where we meet Sarah Clinton, Joyce's sarcastic roommate. Danny leaves, and Joyce gets an evil look, plotting to get Danny once and for all. The next few strips are gags, and not very important to the storyline, although Joe's character is revealed more as a womanizer and violent person. Soon, however, Danny goes to Alex seeking advice, and discovers that Alex is a geek who lives in the virtual world, and lives through his computer. The storyline ends with the relevation that Alex never actually leaves his computer, getting things delivered to him.
