Nathan is the long-term internet boyfriend of Amber, using the handle FirstNate. For ten years they have been chatting, but he did not see her in person until 2006. This was after Amber flew to Iowa with Robin. Things became awkward because Meredith, an old crush of Nathan, was now living with him and Nathan's roommate, Enrique, after getting a divorce from her husband. Amber kissed Nathan in front of Meredith, becoming the first girl that Nathan has kissed.

Upon Amber's next visit, she discovered that Nathan had grown a creepy Real Life pedostache, was still living with Meredith, and worst of all enjoyed Carlos Mencia. She promptly dumped his arse, but the boy was quick to rebound... within a few hours he was banging Meredith, although he has not updated his Facebook status to reflect this yet.
