"Moving In", the very first storyline created by David Willis, Started off what nobody expected to be one of the largest and best comics on the internet. Comprised of only seven strips, all in black and white, It introduces the four main characters: Danny Wilcox, Joe Rosenthal, Sal Walters, and Joyce Brown.

Synopsis

These strips chronicle the first days of Joe and Danny's move onto the college campus. Joe immediately decides to visit the upstairs floor, which is full of girls, while Danny makes a call to Sal, his current, yet absent girlfriend. Immediately, Willis starts the character development, Danny reprimanding Joe for visiting the floor above, while Joe wonders what the consequences of that would be. The two get into a fight the next morning and are interrupted by their R.A., or Resident assistant. Quite the mean guy, he warns them to not make fun of Star Trek, which Joe immediately does. Then, it's off to class for Danny, While Joe stays home - his first class is at 2:30pm. At class, Danny meets Joyce (her first appearance), who immediately falls for Danny, and follows him home after class. This ends the first storyline.

Notes

• The first strip is later redone from Sal's perspective in It's Walky on April 26, 2001 as part of her origin, which fills in the gaps between most of her apparances in Roomies!.
