Bobby "Machete" Walkerton was a member of Jason's squad chasing Monkey Master after the Martian invasion. Joining the squad under unknown circumstances and for undisclosed reasons, there appears to be more to him than meets the eye. Not his eyes though, because he wears goggles. He is brash and reckless, which, given his parentage, is not particularly surprising.
History
Machete's past is unclear, but it seems that he is Joyce and Walky's son from a timeline about 25 years in the future. After arriving in this time, he somehow became assigned to Jason's team to hunt down Monkey Master. Jason was not given much, if any, information about him, so it is unknown whether even his superiors know his true identity. He assisted Jason and Sal in defeating the Electric Man and Monkey Master.
After that confrontation, he encountered Head Alien II, who knew his name and the fact that he had come from the future. When Bobby admitted that he was from the timeline they were currently in, Head Alien II apparently erased him from reality by deciding to kill his parents.
He's currently captured by Head Alien II, who keeps him in check by deciding to either kill his parents (and erase him from the timestream) or not.
Exactly why and how he came to this time is still a mystery. Whether he will appear again is also a mystery. His middle name is a mystery. Let's face it, he's one mysterious dude.
Abilities
He is extra-strong and extra-durable (by Monkey Master's estimation, he is among the strongest humans on the planet), presumably inherited from his parents. In addition, as Joyce and Walky's son, he inherited natural Martian DNA.
Trivia
- He's called Machete because it sounds hardcore, not because he carries any sort of blade.
- The one time you see his eyes, you see that he inherited them from his mother.
