The first storyline of the spring term of Roomies! second year, Actions and Consequences, "Joyce the Squirrel" is mostly composed of a dream sequence in which the core cast are transformed into furry animals.

Storyline

On her new computer, Joyce looks up Yahoo's site of the day, Tina the Squirrel, only to find the comic strip contains "PREMARITAL HANKY-PANKY!" [1]

That night, when she goes to sleep, she dreams of herself as a squirrel, Sarah as a skunk, Danny as a dog, and Joe (kept off-panel) as a wolf. At first she doesn't realise it's a dream, despite Sarah the Skunk telling her and screams when she realises she has no pants. She runs to find Danny, only to find he's an animal too. Danny the Dog finds her subconscious frightning, but unlike the sex-driven comic Joyce had read earlier, they'll just be watching Fial House.

On waking up, she feels very confused, while Sarah drops her towel [2].

Later, Sarah finds Joe is avoiding her, and wonders why she's persuing him. [3]
