The sixth storyline of Roomies!, #@!! Christmas Spirit... deals with the first Christmas of Danny & Joe at college. It contains 11 black & white comics.
Synopsis
Danny and Joe are going Christmas shopping with Joyce. It begins early in the morning with Danny waking Joe, just before Joyce arrives shout-singing "Fa la la la laaaaaaaa!" At the mall, Joyce wastes no time in rushing around to look at everything that is pretty and/or cute, much to Joe's displeasure.
After they split up to do some shopping their own, Joyce finds a snowglobe that she thinks Danny will like, and asks Joe's opinion on it. After seeing the sparkly pink unicorn inside, Joe offers to pay for half.
Over in the greeting card section, Joe finds what might be the greatest card in the world[1]. When all is said and done, though, Joyce has all her shopping done, while Danny and Joe only get things for themselves.
Back at the dorms, Danny begins studying for finals. His rhetorical question of if anything could be worse is quickly answered when Joyce comes in with a sprig of mistletoe (which actually turns out to be holly). Joyce, still upset that Danny is clinging to Sal, storms out of the room. On the way back to her dorm, Joyce makes it her mission to get Danny to forget Sal. When Joyce gets back to her room, however, she just breaks down and sobs.
