In 2007, Ethan hired Zach Braff (J.D.), Sarah Chalke (Elliot), Judy Reyes (Carla), John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox), Donald Faison (Turk), and Robert Maschio (The Todd) from the cast of Scrubs as temporary employees during the Christmas season. They accepted because they didn't have work during the three-month long WGA strike. [2]
