The tenth storyline of Roomies!, Don't Mess with a Man and His Bicycle, covers the events of Danny losing his bike, and later meeting Joyce's parents. Contains 9 black-and-white strips.

Synopsis

At the beginning of this storyline, Danny finds that his bike has been stolen. Joe recommends that Danny should get a new bike, and Danny attacks him, being very wound up from the Sal situation. Joe recommends that Danny seek out a relationship with Joyce, which Danny does. However, when he arrives at Joyce's dorm, her parents are there, and she introduces Danny as her fiancé. Danny is understandably angry, and tells Joyce that their relationship would never work because she does things like this. Joyce uses vicious puppy eyes to convince Danny to stay and play along. They all go out to dinner happily, except for Danny, who is still confused and shocked. The storyline ends with a cliffhanger as Danny returns to his dorm, saying that "Things couldn't get weirder" - definite comic foreshadowing.
