Cruising for Chicks is the first storyline in the "Desperately Seeking Sal" story arc. It details the very beginning of Jason, Walky, and Joe's roadtrip to go find Sal, who had left SEMME in the Retraction storyline.

Story

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Jason announces to Squad 128 that he and Walky are going to find Sal. Rationalizing that since she's been gone for awhile, she must be in trouble, which Walky has a hard time believing. In proving that he is unable to keep a secret, Walky reveals that he's attempted to find Sal five times by himself. Jason puts Joyce in charge for the time being and they make preparations to leave. In order to seperate Joe and Joyce (who had become close friends since his joining of SEMME), Walky strongly insists that Joe come along.

Despite Walky not being able to fit the X-TREEEM MUG in Jason's car, they pick up Joe and go on their way. Jason reveals that the CIA had been tracking Sal's debit card purchases and has tracked her to North Carolina. Joe asks if Jason had to sleep with someone to get the info, which he denies, but Joe continues anyway and asks if she was hot, at which Jason is forced to reveal that he probably did.
