Blaine O'Malley, also known as "Amber's Dad," is... Amber's dad. Not much is known about his past, save that he worked as a distributor for Kay-Bee Toys, and that he fought in some war or another.

Due to his history of abuse towards Amber, in 2002 his ex-wife forcibly removed their daughter from his home and set her up in her own apartment -- right off the same hall as Ethan Siegal's, in fact, which is how they met. After a short period of trying to cope on her own, Amber broke down and got back in touch with Blaine. At first, Ethan was utterly infatuated with Blaine because of his job, but their relationship soured when Ethan learned about his abuse toward Amber.

Four years later, after Amber had escaped him again, Blaine came looking for her at Shortpacked!, where Ethan forcibly removed him from the store (with a CPR pamphlet for his trouble). Robin attributed the event to her pulling out the store's Drama Tag just moments before his arrival.
